New Community Space

We have decided to find a new home for our online community space. Let’s continue our community discussions in a new, accessible, open, and inclusive space. With its widely used service and excellent moderation tools, including fine-grained roles and permission management, Discord was the perfect choice for us!

As we migrate our community, please get involved, introduce your collectives, receive support and share your platform feedback with our team.

We will be closing our remaining public Slack channels in the next few weeks.

Crowdfunding Redesign

We are embarking on a collective journey to redesign our crowdfunding experience. How can we create a better crowdfunding experience for our community? What do informative collective profile pages look like? How do we tell better money stories and what affects does this have on contributors and on your crowdfunding?

The choices we make will effect all collectives. So we’re taking steps to make sure we generate a positive effect with as little disruption as possible. Read about our intentions in our first blog post.

During our recent engineering cycle we built a few prototypes to demonstrate our intentions for the crowdfunding redesign project. One dedicated to fundraising and the other dedicated to Collective story-telling and a new “accounts” tool in Collective dashboards. We built these prototypes so that you could experience these new designs directly with your own Collectives, projects and events.

Please take the time to read more about this project in our latest blog post. This will walk you through how to activate the prototypes and see how it applies to your Collective. We are eager to hear your feedback please share it with us via the feedback form.
